New "shoe"...New look...
Bought it 2nd hand from Japan way back in early May...
still in good conditions, the inner rubber between 2 pieces still in good condition, no air leakage...
just got minor2 scratches...
Specs :
16inch
PCD 100
8JJ
Offset +35
The rim combined with 16/50/205 tire...is sits nicely along with the wheel arch...
but these rims can't fit the 4pot brake caliper from ST205 ...only can use normal 2 pot or 6pot mini (racing 6 pot) :D
So far...the ride comfort still very nice, although it's an old car... :D :D

KBS Gymkhana Challenge 2011 @ Putrajaya
Hi All,
Friend called me, asking wanting me to join in a Gymkhana event, support the local motorsport.Wow...been years already...At first I was reluctant, cuz it reminds me way back in 2005, after what happened of that one event... :( ...well that's another story.
Since Tim help me alot on, go-karting, AutoX and Drifting...so it's time for me tp repay him.
During the Gymkhana event...there were also KBS Drift Malaya Battle 2011 along with 3rd Hot Air Balloon Festival.
Didn't prepared much, running on 17 inch with stock 3SFE engine...arrived late...hahaaaha...gamble...
Helmet on...So here i go...
During practice run...it was damn hot...how ever...luck are with me...
It rains on the run time...wooo hoooo...The rain saved my tire... :P :P
And Video for it...need to practice more on hand-braking turn...I think this is the 3rd run...Thanks Dennis...
Manage to get 4th place...
Beaten by a Corolla AE82, 3rd place...he also didn't prepared much...go Toyota !!!
Both of us cant match 1st n 2nd place...a regular AutoX runner...with Proton Satria...hahahhaa
About Corona on Gymkhana...well I can say it's a pretty good car doing that...although it look "larger then life"...I can say, it's pretty easy to drive rather that my old Corolla...steering rack changed and used a better hydraulic oil, good hand brake (drum n disk combination :D), good torque...quite impressive...hope it's will do even better in track day... :D

Window tinting. Removing sprayed mark on the glass
New tinting...better visible light, light reflected , UV Rays reject and Heat reject.
But there's a marking on the windows / glass... :(
Perhaps the old owner over sprayed it, made a marking on the glass...
So...I've used some WD-40 to lubricate it then scrapped the marking with sharp knife.
Do it nice n easy.

Change the steering rack
Reason changed : Got a free play on the rack plus the movement not so smooth.
As for Corona ST171 version, the rack sits on the front sub frame, not like the Corolla AE series, which attached to the front firewall frame.
In order to take out the steering rack, the cross member need to go out, the lower part of the extractor and the front sub frame...only then you'll get access into it.
While was about to installed it, notice that my steering coupling broken, the joins are loosen. The mech decide to repiar it first. Took quite sometime to adjust it, not like the long shaft coupling. This one much more harded due to it size. Just look at it... :(
After a few attempt failed. We've decided to take another coupling which came from ST205 fits nicely. Just need to swap the "sleeves"...
Put it back all together. Flushed the old power steering oil. Put in the new Honda power steering fluid. Test it out...Vuaalaaaaa...the steering response is so smooth and responsive...yeahhhh !!! Thanks my Mech !!!
